This pleasant chalet on the outskirts of Saint-Gervais-les-Bains is surrounded by calm nature on the edge of a forest, and also enjoys a particularly strategic location, close to a great choice of exciting activities.
In winter, the property is located a 10-minute drive away from three ski lifts, allowing you to quickly access the slopes of Saint-Gervais, Saint-Nicolas-de-Véroce and Les Contamines-Montjoie, and enjoy the snow until the end of the season.
Outside the ski season, walkers and bikers can enjoy an extensive network of footpaths through this beautiful region. Lac du Pontet, in Les Contamines, offers various activities for the whole family. And at Lac de Passy, just 10km away, you can swim, fish, windsurf, hike or simply enjoy a family picnic with views of Mont Blanc.
When you’re ready for some pampering, head to the thermal baths at Saint-Gervais, where you can enjoy a range of treatments and massages. This spa resort in the heart of the mountains has all the shops and facilities you could need during your stay. The village also has an ice rink, a casino and a leisure centre.

This two-storey chalet on the edge of Saint-Gervais sleeps 6 adults and 2 children, with four bedrooms and three bathrooms.
The entrance hall leads to the living area, where you can relax on the cosy sofa in front of the TV and wood-burning stove. There is also a dining table where you can get together for delicious meals prepared in the fully equipped open-plan kitchen, which has an induction hob and breakfast bar. There’s also a utility room, with a washing machine and a tumble dryer.
You will find a children's bedroom with bunk beds and a desk on this floor, as well as a shower room with a toilet.
The living area and bathroom on the ground floor are wheelchair-accessible, and the sofa can be converted into a bed.
There are three more bedrooms on the first floor of Chalet Ormiages. All have desks and double beds, one of which can be arranged as twin beds if you prefer. One of these bedrooms has a private shower room, while the other two share a bathroom with shower, bath and double washbasin. There is also a separate toilet on this floor.
The highlights of this chalet are the large secure garden with a table tennis table, as well as the superb year-round mountain views.
There’s room for one car in the garage, where you’ll also find a ski room. Several more vehicles can be parked outside Chalet Ormiages.

About the area…
The village of Saint-Gervais is part of the Évasion Mont-Blanc ski area, along with its neighbours Megève, Les Contamines and Combloux. The Espace Diamant (Praz-sur-Arly, Bellecombe, Crest-Voland, Flumet and Les Saisies) is just a 30-minute drive away.
Experienced skiers who want to try their hand at night skiing should head for the Vallée Blanche. This is a 23km run, with a 2,000m drop, linking the Aiguille du Midi to the Mer de Glace. You'll need to book a guide for this magical experience, which is even better under the glow of a full moon.
Other winter activities available within a short drive of the chalet include dog sledding and snowshoe trekking. Adrenalin-seekers can enjoy ice climbing, via ferrata and paragliding.
In summer, this area is a favourite with hikers and cyclists. Explore the Argentière glacier or the Baroque Trail, a 20km path between Combloux and Les Contamines-Montjoie that passes some of the area's most beautiful Baroque buildings. If you're lucky, you might even spot some marmots!
The artificial lake at Passy is a small ecological haven fed by mountain streams and surrounded by wild flowers. Take a picnic and relax with a view of Mont Blanc, while the children enjoy the play area. They can also try the tree-top adventure course, pedalos and mini-golf, while the lake offers windsurfing, paddleboarding and fishing.
One of the region's most popular activities is the Tramway du Mont-Blanc, which takes you to the foot of the Bionnassay glacier. The “Destination Mont-Blanc” pass entitles you to special offers and discounts at many of the region's attractions.

Chalet was just like the pictures (unlike previous experiences with different booking platforms) - short drive to the slopes, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and living area making our stay very enjoyable. Clément was always on hand to deal with any issues - most especially when we took a wrong turn and got lost on our way there! I should also mention it was spotlessly clean! We will be looking to book again!

This chalet for eight guests, ideally located on the outskirts of Saint-Gervais, is perfect for families whatever the season. In winter, its strategic location allows sports enthusiasts to quickly access three main ski lifts.
And in the summer months, you will be able to enjoy a large, flat garden as well as a sunny terrace. Children will be happy playing table tennis there, while the adults can relax and admire the uninterrupted views of the peaks.
With four bedrooms, including a bunk room for children, the chalet offers plenty of space for everyone. Guests with limited mobility are catered for too, with wheelchair access to the living room and a bathroom on the ground floor.
The sofa in the living room can easily be converted into a bed.
The spacious living area includes a cosy lounge with sofa, television and wood-burning stove, a table for meals with family and friends, and a well-equipped open-plan kitchen. There’s a separate laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.

When we discovered this place, nestled in a peaceful clearing overlooked by the Dômes de Miage, we immediately knew this was the place. This was where our family life project would take root.
Chalet Ormiages was born out of this love affair, fuelled by a quest for simplicity, beauty and calm.
We designed every room, every detail, with the aim of making you feel at home, leaving the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind.
You don't have to do much here.
Just open the shutters, listen to the silence, walk a few steps to the lake, gaze at the peaks – and let yourself be.
The chalet's location is a rare privilege: a treasure chest of nature on the edge of Saint-Gervais, just a stone's throw from wonderful hikes, famous ski slopes and simple pleasures like watching a deer at sunrise.
